When you adopt or sponsor an animal through the Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital, your donation directly supports the rehabilitation and care of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. Your gift also helps offset the cost of caring for our Educational Ambassadors — permanent resident animals who remain at the Center to help us teach visitors about South Florida’s natural world.
Through our Adoption & Sponsorship Program, you help provide food, healthcare, and safe housing for your favorite feathered, furry, or scaly species.
Adoptions and sponsorships are symbolic.
The animals remain in our expert care at SNC and may be adopted or sponsored by more than one supporter.
You will have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital rehabilitate wildlife, provide lifelong sanctuary to ambassador animals, and educate thousands of visitors each year about conservation and coexistence.
Each adoption or sponsorship is valid for one full year and provides a unique opportunity to learn about wildlife while supporting our mission.
