Adult Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital!

This application is for individuals who are:

• At least 18 years old

Please note that court-ordered volunteer service is not accepted.

Important Information

Parents, please do not complete this application on behalf of your high school student. Applicants should complete the form themselves, with assistance as needed. This helps us communicate directly with each volunteer and ensures they understand the commitment involved.

Volunteer positions are limited, and available opportunities will be discussed during orientation.

Volunteer Commitment

Many volunteer positions require a regular weekly schedule and a minimum three-month commitment.

If you are unable to commit to a regular volunteer schedule, you can still get involved through our Green Team program, which meets on select Saturdays and does not require a long-term commitment.

Orientation & Communication

After submitting your application:

• You will receive information about volunteer orientation
• Please check your email regularly for updates and scheduling information
• Orientation details and reminders may also be sent through Signup.com

The email address you provide on this application will be our primary method of communication.

Before You Submit

Once you submit the application:

• You will have the option to save or print a copy of your responses
• If you see the option to save your responses, your application was submitted successfully
