When you visit Sawgrass Nature Center, you are doing more than enjoying a day with nature — you are helping support wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and environmental education in our community.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on admissions, donations, memberships, sponsorships, and community support to continue caring for injured and orphaned wildlife and inspiring the next generation of conservationists.
The Nature Center is open later than the Wildlife Hospital. Once the hospital is closed, animal intakes are NOT accepted until the following business day. If you have found an injured animal, please call us at 954-752-9453 during business hours.
