At the Sawgrass Nature Center there are several ways to donate: time, money,even goods and products. At the SNC, we especially need money to meet the constant demand of running an educational center and wildlife hospital. Over the years, hundreds of volunteers and community members have worked very hard to make the dream of this center a reality. So we ask that whatever you can give, please give. Whether in the form of money, food, towels, time, or needed professional service, we NEED YOU. Below is a copy of our wish list; the list contains many items that are constantly needed here at the SNC.
From July 5th – September 26th, shop at Whole Foods Market® Coral Springs and you can help support the SNC! When you shop at Whole Foods Market® Coral Springs with reusable shopping bags, you’ll be given three options at checkout:
1) You can choose to donate 10 cents per bag to the Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital.
2) You can choose to donate 10 cents per bag to the Whole Planet Foundation. The Whole Planet Foundation is a private, nonprofit organization established by Whole Foods Market®, providing grants to microfinance institutions in Latin America, Africa, and Asia who in turn develop and offer microenterprise loan programs, training and other financial services to the self-employed poor.
3) Receive 10 cents per bag as a refund off of your purchase total.
