Becoming a member will help us achieve our mission of caring for sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife, and providing public education about Florida’s fragile and unique environment.
Each year the SNC cares for hundreds of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. Many of our admissions are rehabilitated and released back into their natural environment. Those with permanent injuries or that are not native to Florida, are provided with permanent homes here at the SNC. We currently have 97 permanent residents for whom we provide natural habitats and constant care.
We are a 501(c)(3) and do not receive any city or state funding. We write grants for the funding of habitats and programming and rely upon corporate and individual donations for our day-to-day operations. Your generosity provides us with the resources needed to continue helping wildlife and educating the community.
