Book 2 hours for a party in Sawgrass Nature Center’s (SNC) outdoor classroom! We provide
an hour of entertainment!
Party Specifics:
“MEET YOUR WILDLIFE FRIENDS”, is a hands-on presentation using a variety of live animals and
artifacts. This is a unique opportunity to safely get close to some wild animals. We strive to make our
programs fun, but also hope to cultivate stewardship of the earth and appreciation all of its
inhabitants. The presentation includes a guided tour of the SNC exhibit area. Please call for alternative

Price of Program: $13.75/participant; $275 minimum (= 20
participants). A participant is an attendee who directly engages in the program, by sitting close and
touching the animals. Parents are not counted towards the participant total. )
Party Schedule:
10:30-12:30 or 1:00-3:00 – One hour for the program and exhibit tour and one hour for your activity
like serving cake or snacks. Please call if you are interested in other times.
Deposit, Cancellations and Changes:
$100.00 deposit is required; $75 to hold date, and a $25 security deposit. The security deposit is
refundable if the room is clean and damage-free. Both deposits, if applicable, will be applied to the
balance due. Less than 28 days notice of cancellation or date change will result in forfeiture of ‘hold
date’ deposit or a $25 administration fee, respectively. The party is held in an outdoor classroom and
will be rescheduled penalty-free only for unsafe weather as deemed by the SNC. For the safety of our
animals and your party guests, SNC reserves the right to shorten, change, or terminate the program
portion of the party, without penalty, if participants are acting in an unsafe or highly disruptive manner
and continue to do so after SNC representatives have asked them to stop.
Special Instructions:
You are welcome to use our tables and chairs. We do not provide decorations, plates, table
cloths, etc. Clean-up of the party room is required; decorations must be taken down, tables
cleaned, floor swept and trash/recycling must be removed from the room.
Since escaped or popped balloons are dangerous to wildlife, we ask that you do not use them.
Please, no live animals as party favors or decorations.
SNC does not have refrigerators, ice, or ovens to cool or heat your party food.
